How often do we have the chance to simply sit outside and "be"?
The answer is not very often.
It is actually quite luxurious outside today.
It is interesting to watch my Creative Writing students sit around and write.
I wonder if they are able to turn off their school brains and soak in this weather, this amazing land upon which they go to school, this sunlight, this solitary moment of potential zen?
More often than not, I don't even allow myself this time lately.
I should take some time - even if it is just 20 minutes.
